Little doggie came to us scared half to death from all the celebrations going on and just wanted to be held. We searched and searched for her owners but it was far too chaotic in the entire area and there was an excessive amount of traffic so we just couldn’t bear to leave her on the streets. I think she had been running senseless for a while and with the constant fireworks throughout the neighborhoods spooking her further, she may have trekked quite a ways from home. We missed the firework show and our kids even said they would gladly forgo setting off their own stash in favor of getting her home safe for the night. Once the traffic started flooding out of the area she probably would have been a gonner. We are taking good care of her until we can locate her owner(s). Went and bought food and are giving her lots of snuggles. We are taking her to the vet to check for a chip and have posted on social media as well. If you think this could be your sweet pup please text me a description and a photo to confirm. I don’t want to post a picture because I know she’ll get instantly snatched up by someone just trying to make a buck off of her. Yes, she’s beautiful and unusually docile and probably would go to anyone so we want to be extra careful.
