I'm a guy who's played acoustic guitar and sang since I was in high school back in the 70s. I'm looking for a mature girl singer who has time to start from scratch and build a duet performance style. My most direct influences are Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris, but I'm interested in all types of folk, pop, and country singing and playing. As long as it works as an acoustic guitar duet, I'm interested. I'm not a creeper or anything -- I'm happily married and just interested in music. My ideal partner will have some talent for singing (and maybe playing guitar) and a willingness to put in a little time working up a few songs, mainly for fun but also for performing on open-mike nights around town. I'm talented, but I need a female lead singer. I can sing harmony and the occasional lead. My voice is good, but it isn't great. I'm a really good guitar player and a very musical person, however.
