Hi there! I'm Rachel. We are an acoustic duo (female vocals and guitar) seeking members to form a full band. We are working on a 20-song, somewhat eclectic, cover setlist, and then would like to begin writing collaboratively and adding originals. Our covers extend from U2 to H.E.R., Bobby Bland to Harry Styles so we definitely keep it open genre-wise, preferring to put a soulful and acoustic stamp on whatever we choose play. We like soul/bluesy/funky stuff for sure. We play open mics and practice 1-2 times a week. We would like to begin getting some gigs around town by ourselves, and with new members as they come along. The ideal next members are percussion/drums and bass but we are open to other vocalists and instruments, including an additional guitarist, if the fit is right. Obviously adding more members will change the dynamic and sound of the group from acoustic duo to full band- we're good with that and ready to roll with the changes and growth that come with the right members.
