Need window air conditioner fixed

The window air conditioner in my bedroom does not cool properly. This has a history. Up until two years ago I had a unit that worked great, but in 2020 it stopped working. I replaced it with a brand new 5000 btu unit that did not cool it nearly as much or lower the humidity like it should have. Okay, I thought, maybe my bedroom was borderline too large to be cooled by a 5,000 btu unit. In the summer of 2021 I bought from Home Depot a brand new LG 8,000 BTU unit that should have been overkill. In fact, the situation has only marginally improved. From the first time I turned it on a year ago, it just has not cooled like it should, and when I enter the room I feel high humidity. In the end I get by by supplementing the air conditioner with a large fan that I point toward myself. I am at my wits’ end. I am sure there has been nothing wrong with the two air conditioners which I have bought brand new. In particular, the 8000 BTU LG model should have been overkill in my average-size bedroom. I repeatedly check to make sure the filter is clean. Yet even when I put the unit on its coldest setting, I cannot get the temperature in the room below 73-74 degrees. I attach inside and outside photographs of the unit, which is on a second-floor window. If you are an air conditioning expert and you think you know what the problem is, I would be happy to pay you to come fix it. Please write me back and tell me what you think the problem is and how you can fix it. Please don’t just send me an email that consists of a phone number I am supposed to call.
