Description
Pacific Blue Parrotlet named Happy.
We got her from Birdiebird Petshop and they told us it's a female and that she was hand fed as a chick.
We're rehoming her, because my health is low and I discovered a pet bird is not my thing right now. She's is no doubt an adorable little birdie!
Name: Happy
Age: approx. 1 year
Size: 4"
Sex: female
Color: pretty shades of light blue
Sound: Parrotlets are considered the most quiet parrot types. Their sound is a bit more chirpy than squacky like parakeets are. They can learn to talk a little.
Temperament: very playful birdie. She's friendly, curious, likes to fly on to your shoulder, climb on things, plays toys and loves attacking her mirror while on her swing, loves treats, and a silly little rascal at times. She is not a step on your finger sort of bird, but with trainning and patience I think it's doable. I worked with her a lot for a couple months and she stepped on my bare hand once. She steps up no problem basically every time on a wooden perch I hold up to her when I say, "Step Up" and then I give her a treat. So it's easy to let her fly around the house and put her back in her cage. She loves to visit on your shoulder when you're eating a sandwich and she begs for a few crumbs.
Comes with...
Her cage which is a breeders cage. Comes with a divider in the middle, 4 wooden perches, and 4 feeder cups.
Birdseed, bird pellet vitamin food, spray millet treats, climber hoops, nest, balls, mirror, and swing toys..., cuttlebone calcium chew. And Happy Birdie.
Rehoming fee of $400. for everything.
