Morgan's Constructive Solutions, LLC (DBA Sandia Mountain Solar) is a licensed general, electrical, and mechanical contractor that specializes in the installation of solar systems. We work throughout the state of New Mexico for residential and commercial clients. We are looking for a skilled carpenter with a clean driving record who would be responsible for the following: • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches and to understand project specifications • Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for projects • Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other material according to measurements • Build staircases, brattices, frame buildings, and other structures by using raw materials or pre-constructed items • Install hardwood floors, siding, cabinets, drywall, and insulation • Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed • Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines • Ability to oversee multiple projects in multiple locations • Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met • Supervisory and leadership experience with excellent problem solving and personnel management skills • Ability to handle multiple, simultaneous, time-sensitive projects • When necessary, travel throughout the state for out-of-town work • Knowledge of safety procedures • Participate in staff trainings and meetings as scheduled • Follow supervisory/administrative directives and instructions Construction experience is required with a wide range of experience in the industry preferred. • Forty hours per week is standard • Overtime is rare but may happen • Work 4, 10-hour days (when possible) • Per diem for out-of-town work • Paid time off and holiday pay $25+ min to start BOE To apply, please email send your resume.
