Cantech Automotive is seeking motivated, positive, and experienced individuals for its service department. About Cantech: We work on mainly late model European cars, although we do work on domestic and Asian. We also work on many "special interest' cars and exotics. (You will not be required to work on these but if you have the skill and desire, we can certainly make that happen. The service department is looking for an automotive technician. This individual must have a professional attitude, be punctual, good work ethic, desire to learn more beyond their current skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize properly. Must have a valid US driver’s license. At least 2 years automotive service technician experience in a shop is required. Well versed in all aspects of automotive repair Strong European car background preferred Early Euro experience is a plus Muscle car/Domestic vehicle experience is a plus. The responsibilities for our service technician position consist of but are not limited to: Diagnostic and Repair Perform multi-point inspections and advice of any work the vehicle will need for safety driving. Proficient with Hunter tire and wheel alignment equipment Ability to work on late model European cars, although we do work on domestic and Asian. Cantech Automotive Facts: APR, Cobb, Dinan, & Renntech tuning center Our shop is filled with the latest equipment and is modeled after the equipment requirements of the likes of BMW and Porsche. Work on the latest models (many clients bring their high-performance cars to us instead of the dealer, even during the warranty period) Eight factory scan tools with OE technical support Clean, neat, and bright. Many customers comment that our shop is nicer than most dealers Multiple information systems to aid in proper diagnosis and repair. We don’t expect miracles from our techs without having the right equipment Hourly wage plus bonus, NO FLAT RATE Matching 401K, health insurance 5 Day work week, no weekends.
