Tonight! There will be a new open mic comedy night at Rogers Park Social (Just off the Morse red line stop). Our plan is to have it every first and third Tuesday of the month (that’s July 5th and 19th), with the hope of increasing the frequency if it goes well! Tell all your funny friends and comedic performers that there’s a mic in Rogers Park. If you have thought about trying comedy before, this mic is also for you - doesn’t matter what your level of experience is, I want to create a space where all feel welcome to participate and have a good time. This is a 21+ event (it is at a bar, after all), and I will be your host for the evening. If you are interested in hosting, this mic could also be for you! I want The Comedy Social to be a platform for anyone in the community who wants to make people laugh. Thank you all who have shown interest and support for this.
