We are looking to hire a groomer who is a team player and is interested in a supportive environment. We are a salon that shows a lot of pride in the fact that we all try to help and uplift each other, bathers included and are looking for someone with all the good vibes ❤️ The pay is very competitive to other salons around ***(Starting at $25 per hour with some groomers making over $35/hr)*** and has a number of amazing benefits so that you can work in a healthy environment that supports you and your needs, including your mental health. Some benefits include but are not limited to: -4 day work week with full time pay (you can opt in to 5 days however we mostly discourage that to prevent burnout) -paid time off and sick time -up to a 3% match on an IRA (retirement) -bathers/assistants for your groom dogs (this helps prevent burnout and lighten the work load) -supportive caring environment -a quarterly allowance for tool maintence/sharpening -a booking receptionist who takes care of most of our scheduling so we spend less time on phones and more time working with our clients (we also don’t answer phones in our salon 95% of the time, it’s usually the people working the front) -full schedules that are also customizable for your comfortablilty. We encourage quality over quantity and charge hourly for our grooms instead of by size and breed so that we and the shop are paid fairly for the work and love we put into all of our grooms -an amazing employee discount on pet food and products we order for our pet supply -the possibility of also working in a mobile van I’ve been working here 5 1/2 years and love it here.
