Grace and peace. I come before all of you in the need of help with prayer, counsel and the possibility of asking help with bringing my fiancé and I as one before God almighty in marriage. This would be a little lengthy post. Because to understand my story you'll have to understand my testimony. And if I may, I will give you the short version, I'm a man saved by grace. It's only because of God almighty and His mercy and love for the lost that I'm here before you. I was very much involved in drugs and everything that involves with it. Because of my addiction and the things, I was doing led me to fighting the case in the courts where they were trying to give me life in prison, not for murder nothing like that. But because of my past crimes and the three strike law in California, I was facing life in prison. It's only because of God's hand upon me that I came to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as my Lord and savior. 2001 I accepted and put my faith in Jesus as my savior. I believe in the living God and what he did for me. And then began my journey in Christianity. I did not get life but I ended up doing 14 years in prison. In those 14 years I got involved in prison ministry, I got disciple, got into reading systematic theology, took biblical courses and learn how a true church functions. Got involved in the usher ministry which open the door to the Spanish ministry in prayer. Eventually took over the ministry and helped coordinate the services. Then I got moved to another prison and I got involved in ministry there. And being a willing vessel, the Lord open the door for me to lead both the English and Spanish Bible studies. I then got moved once more. The Lord being faithful in his hand upon me open the door for me to be used in ministry there. We started a church at that prison, Tree of Life church. It was there where I finished my time in prison and was released in 2015. I now had to learn how to apply all that I've learned in there out here outside prison. Was it easy? No. But I got plugged into a church. Calvary Chapel Hemet. God has been good to me. There's no doubt about that. Fast forward 2020. COVID hit. It affected all of us. Hard for a man like myself barely getting on my feet, five years to be exact. You must understand that I had literally nothing. But God has been good as always. I made it through. 2021, I meet Menche. A beautiful Philippine Christian woman who loves the Lord as much as I do. We became good friends, and within that friendship developed a love for each other. If its the Lord's will, I plan on marrying Menche this year. Thus comes to why I'm writing this post. Im asking the brothers and sisters, or anyone. If they would help me in prayer for this to come to pass. Also for wisdom on how to go about it. And if the Lord puts it in your heart, maybe helping with making it possible financially.
