Description

Exploring creating or joining a small group of musicians mostly for serious fun, occasional paid gigs, occasionally to perform for audiences who are pleasantly surprised, even wow'd when we kick on. Looking for folks of any age who play tight and crisp, with good timing, good command of your instrument; spend time to get it right. Performance-wise, we would be more active than passive; more engaged than laid back. Personality-wise, we'd be laid back, for sure. I am retired, able-bodied, active. No destructive habits. I'm a singer-songwriter with decent vocals. I play acoustic rhythm guitar. I haven't practiced harmonies in decades, but willing to retrain myself. I'm mobile with a larger SUV. I have a small performance studio in my home. Well equipped. Gig mixer/amp. Mic'd acoustic instruments; Ukes, Mandolins, and a full electric bass set-up I don't yet know how to play. Big & small portable amps. Gig PA, Lots of interface cables. Oh, and good 24-hour video security! Interests include blues, old and newer R&R, ballads, progressive country, ++. Enjoy learning new stuff. Sometimes enjoy taking faster stuff, and slowing it down to something more soulful and bluesy. Open to creativity wherever it leads. Influences include but not limited to The Who, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Lynyrd Skynyrd, FooFighters, Kenny Wayne Shepard, CCR, CDB, Eagles, Seger, Beatles, James Taylor, Whiskey Myers, Chris Stapleton, ++. This may take some discussions, get togethers, and time. Happy patience is a good thing! More info? Just reply with similar information about yourself and what you're hoping to find.
