Hi! I'm a part of a shared large studio space in Kensington within the Sharktown building. Our studio is an open floor plan divided up into six 26.5 ft x 14 ft spaces. We're looking for a new person to take over one of the spaces. Everyone has very different hours and even though there are many of us, it's actually pretty rare to see other people in the studio. The main building/studio rules are take your food trash with you and no loud noises that can be heard from outside. It's the perfect space for practicing artists looking for a lot of floor space to spread out but share rent with other people. Currently the entire studio space is split between a dye artist, two sculptors, three video/photo/visual artists, and a printmaker. There's also a drop sink/"kitchen" area and a private bathroom. Lease and first day of move-in August 1. Preferably looking for someone to sign a year sublet, but also open to a 6 month sublet. Rent is $385/mo + utilities (generally no more than $20 per person). Wifi is included in rent. We're totally cool with multiple people sharing one space, this one is currently split between two photographers.
