I'm looking for musicians, either male or female to join a classic rock band. This band will not be working for a few months, and even then, gigs will be carefully selected. This may be a great second project for working musicians or people who don't want to gig every weekend. I'm heavily influenced by the Stones and early classic rock, and I'm looking for like minded musicians. I've put bands together in the past and I'm a stickler for how I approach this. If you're interested in inquiring about the project, below is what I'll ask you to do. Beginners, please don't be intimidated by any of this. I have helped various musicians get started playing in bands. If the talent is there, the rest will follow. When you respond, please do the following. 1. Please introduce yourself, include your email, your phone number, and send me a brief autobiography of your musical experiences. A picture should be included. 2. Then, I'll send you my personal email. 3. Next, would be for you to send me an audio or video sampling of your playing. If you can't do this via email, please let me know and I'll send you my address so that you can mail it to me. 4. After I've reviewed your information, we'll speak on the phone. 5. Then I'll set up a time for us to meet. 6. If everything looks good at that point I'll send a list of about 6 cover songs and I'll set up an audition for you. You'll be expected to play all six songs in the audition. One final note! Please be a nonsmoker!!!
