The 1864 Cornhole Tournament is new this year! Limited to 10 teams of two. Single elimination tournament--one and done! No monetary entry fee, just a donation of a back-to-school item or canned food item. The event is offered in conjunction with 1864 Ransoming, Burning & Rebirth, and we are remembering to help others because the help of others was an important part of resurrecting Chambersburg from the ashes of the 1864 burning. Win Franklin County Pour Trail Prizes, including Pour Trail Passport and samples of offerings. First place is two $35 gift certificates to CJ Barbecue, located in Chambersburg and Shippensburg. The event is held in the Great Room of the 11/30 Visitors Center, located on the square at 15 South Main Street. Boards and bags are provided, but participants are permitted to bring their own bags. Any questions, please contact 717.552.2977, Extension 101, and ask for Leisa. Check-in opens at 2:30 PM. (Just bring your donation item that day.) Bags fly at 3 PM. Get your friends and join the fun!
