Little Heart's Chalet Family Childcare, we are a daycare where kids can play and are geared to have them willing to learn. We learn through play which is very important in growth of a child! Having a structure of a preschool which involves a daily routine including both ongoing themed activities and curriculum. In table time, we work on our numbers, ABC's, Colors, Shapes. To get prepared for kindergarten, our older kids work on their writing skills. Crafts/Art projects are usually based on holidays and a continuing theme for each season/month. We are an active part of the Scholastic's learning program. Here with the Little Heart's Chalet Family Childcare, he or she will be in a safe-loving environment. We meet and exceed State child care safety guidelines. Currently I have 14 years of experience of running our in home daycare. Certified 4C's Child Care Professional, Fundamentals of Family Child Care, and Fundamentals of Infant & Toddler Care Certifications. Including being current on both first-aid and CPR Certified courses. On the business side I am an involved member of NAEYC and WFCCA societies. Annually adding classes to continue my education and degree in early childcare. All of these courses have helped me better understand the developments our children may go though, so I can do my best in being the provider for your child/children. We are looking to fill full or part-time position this August as few of our little ones will be going into K5 if looking sooner we might be able to work something out. Part-time is usually no less than three days a week. Rates are only based on a full day of care and very reasonable and tax deductible. (Sorry no hourly rate) Family Daycare hours are from 6:45 am to 5:00pm. We are looking to fill for 12 months or older to fit in our current age group.
