Over the last 8 years, Veteran's HomeFront has been providing breakfast, snacks, toiletries, resources, and motivation to the car bound homeless veterans. Organizations have teamed up with Veterans Home Front to provide items to the car bound homeless every Saturday morning.
The Connect 757 is volunteering on Saturday, July 30th from 6:30am-7:30am to distribute bags to the car bound homeless.
Please arrive at 6: 30am and we ask each volunteer to bring items to be added to the blessing bags. You are welcome to bring snacks, fruit, frozen juices, tuna packets, sanitizer, wipes, baby powder, antibiotic ointment etc. to include in the bags that will be distributed. We will make 10-15 bags to pass out that morning.
We will be volunteering with another business, Family SpringsĀ® Natural Artesian Alkaline Bottled Water, to distribute blessing bags that morning.
I will send a sign up list for those that register so we do not duplicate items.
We will meet in the Greenbrier Walmart parking lot in Chesapeake. There are several entrances, so please come to the Walmart entrance across from the Chuck E Cheese lot. We will meet at the stop sign in the parking lot.
