Job Description: This Maintenance Position performs technical and mechanical work that ensures the physical aspects of the buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the property meet the standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety and overall functionality. Qualifications Requirements: - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States - Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license - Must pass a background check - Must be reliable, punctual, and have a good work ethic - Must be able to work effectively in a team environment or independently using good judgment in all situations, including emergencies. - Must be attentive to detail and enthusiastic about quality of work - Must be able to lift moderate to heavy weight (at least 50 lbs) - Must be knowledgeable and skilled in safe use and maintenance of hand tools and power tools - Must have excellent communication skills, ability to read, write and communicate effectively - Must be able to complete company training requirements for this position within pre-determined deadlines and attend other training sessions as required. - Knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical preferred - Property maintenance/handyman experience preferred Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Take responsibility for the daily repair and upkeep of the property and the preparation of vacant units for occupancy. - Maintain and keep inventory of all supplies and equipment. - Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents. - Maintain the required property uniform ensuring a professional appearance - Be aware of and operate within company’s standards and safety policies at all times - Be available to work on an on-call basis - Remove snow and ice as necessary - Other duties as assigned What We Can Offer You: - Competitive wages - Excellent Benefits Package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance (available to those working at least 20 hour per week) - 7 paid holidays - Paid Sick Leave (accrued as per state law) To apply: Please reply with an attachment of your resume and cover letter, telling us why you would be a good fit for this position.
