Join us for the Inaugural Bayou Jamb First Down 5K on Saturday, August 26th, 2022, beginning at 7:00 AM. Good things happen when the school and community come together and commit to showing up in numbers. We are encouraging students, teachers, coaches, parents, families, and community members to get involved and sign up to show your support for Bayou Jamb high schools. Every high school is a winner as they earn part of the race registration proceeds when you sign up. No worries.... we didn’t forget the little ones… The Gridiron Gang Dash is for children under the age of 10 yrs. to sign up and race the 100-yard dash on the football field of Joe Aillet Stadium. Pre-registered packet pick up will occur Monday at 10 - 12 noon at the Ruston Historic Fire Station 200 E Mississippi Ave, Ruston, LA 71270. If you cannot pick up your packet on Monday, packet pick up and walk-up registration will begin promptly at 6:15 am on Saturday before the race. All participants will receive a custom finisher medal, awesome event shirt and commemorative bib. AWARDS: Overall Male & Female (3&3), Top 3 Male/Female in the following age groups: 11 - 14, 15 - 19, 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69, 70 +. No duplicate awards.
