2020: A COMEDY SPECIAL | SYNOPSIS: As cities, states and entire countries reacted to the COVID-19 pandemic, restaurants, bars and other small businesses were forced to shutter their doors. Among the industries cut off from the world was live entertainment – and for comedians, comedy producers and comedy venues specifically, that posed a challenge. Adapt or die. ROMAN CANDLE | SYNOPSIS: After being introduced by a college friend, the two unnamed characters form an immediate connection. As their relationship progresses, the honeymoon fades and the two are forced to grapple with their own changing identities and career ambitions. Roman Candle is a film confronting the realities of what it means to be in love during the turbulence of young adulthood.
