I’ve come in a couple times now and you’ve been there. I was in a leather jacket, white t-shirt. And we shift between this kind of awkward energy and this sort of “wow, this is a vibe” energy. I go back and forth between whether it’s just in my mind or it really is something. I told myself after the first time I saw you, I wouldn’t hit on you or anything, but I’d just ask your name and I couldn’t do it, I just thanked you before I caught my Lyft ride. I realize you’re at work and I’m not trying to put you on the spot in that situation, dynamics being what they are. I do wish I would have invited you to watch the fireworks at the waterfront or something since your shift was ending. Doubt you’ll see this, but if you do and it wasn’t just in my head…here I am.
