Want to improve your jazz chord-comping chops? Participate in re-creating some of the greatest music ever written in a live setting? Come to a Big Band class in Palo Alto on Tuesday evenings. I'm looking for someone to either share the guitar chair with me, or take it and I'll sub for you as needed. Mostly all you have to do is read jazz chord charts and keep time. Occasionally there are some single-note charts, but if you don't do that it's OK (I don't and they haven't kicked me out!). First class of the next session is August second, and I'd like to have someone lined up by then.
