We havve an exciting opportunity for a Dishwash Manager. This individual is responsible for overseeing about 10 team members and will have full operational, fiscal, and human resource responsibility for the entire Dishwash Department. This individual sets the tone for the culture of the department and ensures that team members accomplish the work and treats them equitably and respectfully. This individual provides the vision and motivation for the department to improve recruitment and retention efforts. This individual consistently evaluates ways to improve the operational flow and maintains the quality and safety standards defined. This is a Direct hire position. When you apply with your resume it goes directly to the hiring manager that posted this job. Supervisory and Management: This position oversees the Dishwash Department. This individual manages and supervises the work of all employees within the department, provides vision and clear expectation to all team members, handles succession planning for all employees as well as holding team members accountable. Operations: On the operational side, you are expected to take ownership of the operations by taking full responsibility of anything within the department, ensuring all dishes and cutlery are washed, disinfected, and polished for reuse, managing stocks of equipment to ensure continual flow, ensuring that processes are as efficient as possible, and empowering team members to identify and resolve operational issues. You will be expected to bring to management’s attention any concerns and make recommendations to address them, forecast needs or problems that may arise and have action plans in place to avoid production disruptions. You will also need to coordinate between departments to ensure appropriate service is provided to them. You will also be involved hands-on to fill in as needed to maintain continuous flow of operations. Safety and Quality: Safety is the responsibility of all employees. Therefore, this position, you will ensure that all processes conform to the customer and company specifications, comply with food safety protocol, enforce safety processes, and provide investigative and complete incidents/accident documentation. Human Resources: This position also holds the following HR-related responsibilities: interview and determine the individuals to join your department, approve time off requests and other leaves of absences, perform performance reviews for all department team members, approve all timecards and resolve timecard discrepancies, mentor and coach team members and provide corrective actions as required regular and timely attendance. Benefits: • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance premium • 100% employer-paid for basic life insurance • PTO • Paid company holidays • 401(k) match • Paid parental leave • Free company lunch daily Qualifications: • High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred • 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or food industry, or in a restaurant in Dishwashing role, managing hourly employees • Strong preference given to someone with experience in start-up or turnaround environments • Strong leadership skills, especially with holding others accountable and creating/maintaining an organized and engaged team • Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadline • Good understanding of hygiene and HACCP • Detail-orientated with the ability to see the big picture
