Eat, Pray, Shop for Abeer Allen Fundraiser Event

First Church is pleased to host Eat, Pray, Shop on Saturday, July 23, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m. in the multipurpose room. The event will feature a variety of vendors, gift basket raffles, a baked goods table, and food trucks in the parking lot. Last August, a dear friend of First Church was diagnosed with Pleomorphic Leiomyosarcoma Higrade, an aggressive form of cancer that is so rare that it makes up less than 5% of all liposarcomas. As a mother and small business owner, she has valiantly undergone treatments and recently, she was also diagnosed with thyroid cancer. As an active member of our community, she has often been the one raising money and donating products to help others. Now it is our turn to give back. Proceeds from the event will provide support with her medical expenses and treatment. Visitors are also encouraged to write prayers and notes of encouragement while attending this event, and to continue praying for her.
