Description
Male Orange-Headed Sumatran Short-Tail Python. He is about 7 years old (March 2015) and I've had him since he was a baby. He is by far one of the nicest snakes I've ever owned, never been bit by him. Fantastic eater, eats a jumbo rat about once a month. He is very hissy first getting him out, but it is all for show. He is a big hissy baby. The yellow snake in the pics is not for sale; they were just bathing together when I took the pics. There is absolutely nothing wrong with him, no mites or diseases, only selling because we are moving. I really don't want to get rid of this snake, so please ensure me that you have some snake experience and that he is going to a good home. He loves a water bowl big enough for him to soak in (whole body). Blood pythons and short tails love the water! I can include his water tub if you don't have one big enough. I wouldn't say that this is a difficult snake to take care of though; he's fairly easy. High humidity levels for this kind of snake are very important. His past shed (a couple days ago) was a good solid one piece, but typically he does have some issues shedding.
