URGENT URGENT!! NEEDS COMMITTED FOSTER TODAY JULY 4 BY 4PM OR SHE WILL BE EUTHANIZED...... ONLY WAY SHE MAKES IT OUT ALIVE IS WITH A COMMITTED FOSTER AND A RESCUE TO PULL HER Please help us save yet another 1yr old puppy from shelter's e-list. Sasha, #A4751502 a GermanShepherd/Mix, is incredibly scared and extremely unsure of the world that she was thrown into after being picked up by Animal Control just this last Friday, June 24th Due to Sasha only being there less then a week there is not much information on this young fur lady, but from her notes it appears that she has made good progress from the first time staff tried to take her out of her kennel. After just a couple of days she approached the front of kennel, took treats easy, they were able to lasso her and she walked out of her kennel. She got spooked near the exist and decided she would rather take an uber/cart ride. She walked right in to the cart/uber and rode nicely to the yard. While she mostly wanted to hide and get somewhere safe she did take some treats and allowed some brief petting before putting herself back in the uber for her ride back to kennel. this poor girl just has no idea what to make of her new surroundings and just needs a quiet home, patience and time to learn to trust and feel safe. Many of these fear dogs once out of the traumatizing shelter environment and inside the comfort of a home environment are not nearly as fearful. Who wouldn't be if you were trapped in a concrete kennel with all kinds of loud noises and unfamiliar smells that flood your senses. It is unknown how she would do with other dogs, kids or cats.
