WANT TO BE PART OF MAKING THE 2022 MILWAUKEE SUMMERFEST A SUCCESS ? Are you a friendly and out-going person who enjoys meeting, working with and interacting with folks from all walks of life? We have transportation shuttle ground staff positions that opened up for week #3 or Summerfest We are looking for folks who will be available all 3 days for the full shifts. You will not be driving buses, but must have your own reliable transpiration to be at your assigned work site everyday. There is complimentary parking at your assigned inbound work sites. DATES / TIMES Week #3, July 7th, 8th and 9th (Thurs, Friday, Saturday) Shifts are available between 4pm – 1am each day of event operations LOCATIONS WITH OPENINGS: *WisDOT Park & Ride 40-10, W Holt Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53207 - 1 position *College Avenue Park & Ride WisDOT Park & Ride 40-20 College Ave Northeast, 1400 W College Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53221 - 1 position *Hales Corners Park & Ride, S 108th St, Greenfield, WI 53228 - 1 position JOB REQUIREMENTS: You will be the starting experience and ending experience provider for those attending the Summerfest, so great first impressions, being on time in uniform and ready to work are very important. *You must be able to stand, walk, and count passengers for extended hours during your work shift. *You must be willing to communicate & answer basic questions from Summerfest attendees, shuttle drivers and the rest of the events team. *You must have own reliable transportation to/from work site location(s) *You must be able to arrive "on time" for your scheduled shifts. *You must have your own cell phone for days of event operations that you are scheduled to work. *You must be willing to work outdoor during the entire shift *You may be willing to work independently or with other assigned event team members. UNIFORM: You must have your own solid White Polo shirt with khaki (tan/beige) pants or shorts, closed toed shoes (no sandals, flip flops, crocs) for each of the shifts. We will provide a safety vest and other materials you will need during your in person orientation/training. YOUR ROLE: Greet, load and count the number of passengers for each bus and maintain communications with the various bus drivers for your route and updating the management/dispatch team with any issues which may arise. You will also provide basic instructions to passengers about the transportation shuttle service, their route location for pick up and drop off and some basic Summerfest entry information. PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED: * Prior events transportation experience * Prior events operations experience COMPENSATION $25 / Hour $15/day food allowance Uniform allowance possible depending on number of shifts scheduled.
