Kaski Logging of Amboy is looking to hire an experienced hook tender. We work primarily in SW WA with occasional NW OR jobs. We offer 100% Dental and Vision for employee and family. Full Medical for employee and 50% for family. 11 paid days off after a year of service and 16 days off paid after 5 years. We give a cork/chalk boot and rain gear allowance. All other safety equipment is supplied. 401k after 90 days with the company matching up to 3%. Piece count bonuses paid for production per job. Drive time is paid for one way if the drive is over 1.5 hrs from the shop. Pay is weekly, with steady work and a 5 day M-F work week leaves the weekends off. Pay is $35 hr + DOE We utilize synthetic rope for layouts. Our yarders are a Madill 071 and Thunderbird 6240 depending on the job. We use Boman and Eagle carriages. We are a drug free, family oriented company that puts high priority on safety.
