WINCHESTER, MA — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes. This submission comes from Meredith Chamberlain who nominated her son and his group of friends. Where the nominee lives: Winchester Hero's job: Volunteer Relationship to nominee: My son and his friends Reason for recognition: This group of four boys have quietly been volunteering in our community ex: snow shoveling for elderly, food pantry drives, Valentine's for single mothers, Christmas gifts for poor families, Unite with Light, Operation Gratitude, sports clinics and more.
