I'm an over 50ish guitarist, 30 year veteran of the D.C. music scene. I got so sick of the same old southern rock and metal people are doing around here I haven't touched my gear in a over a year. (I refuse to play any more Skynard). There's so many great songs from '65-'95 nobody even considers.Trinity Assembly of God Church is looking for a Worship Leader. We are a full gospel church and we play a mix of contemporary Christian and gospel hymns. Anyone who applies should be an anointed, devout Christian who is looking for an opportunity to use their God given talent for the Kingdom. If you are able to lead one, two, or three I am a seasoned guitar player/singer and entertaining the thought of hiring a percussionist to enhance my show. I play 3-4 times per month and the pay is usually good. Think Djembe, Cajon (I have one), Bongos, hand drums, etc and vocals would be a plus. Being proficient and having a presence on social media to help bring in crowds would also be a big help. The gigs I play are a blast but I miss the comradery of performing with others.
