My name is Lydia I run the local What the Flock bird rescue in Charleston/Hanahan area. My rescues are not up for rehoming I am a no judgement drop off zone for parrots of all sizes. If I can I pay rehoming fees, but this is a rescue run out of my pocket for now so it's not always available. I understand life happens and birds are the most rehomed pets. I understand sometimes there are accidents, or we didn't know they would bite so much or yell so much or be so messy....which is why if you feel overwhelmed and NEED to rehome your bird I will gladly be a forever home. This is why I am not rehoming, I am not selling these parrots, I am becoming a legit nonprofit organization. So if you or anyone you know needs to rehome a bird I am here, I can help. My flock has a Facebook group called What the Flock🦜 Any bird I adopt will be seen often and frequently in the group posts so you have the option of checking in on it and seeing it happy and spoiled. I have a decade of parrot experience. Birds in the pictures are NOT FOR SALE OR AVAILABLE. I also Birdsit and board if you are looking for an experienced bird sitter.
