I got on a Coney Island-bound subway at Union Square last evening. You were reading "Everything In This Country Is A Must" by Colum McCann, and I remarked that you read pretty fast. You complimented me on what I was wearing and mentioned your doctoral thesis. I commented on words in the vernacular and the importance of Love and human empathy. We spoke intensely for several minutes but the train suddenly reached your stop in Brooklyn (two stops past Dekalb) before we could consider exchanging numbers. I'm kicking myself for not getting off the train to ask! You seem like an amazing person and I'd really like to get to know you!! PLEASE respond!!
