Trying to learn Ableton/ start a band

Hello! I’m looking for people who want to hangout, jam, and learn Ableton. I am 27, male, and have a passion for music. In high school I did 4 years jazz choir and played saxophone a bit. I started to take music classes at CBC right as Covid started. Soon after I dropped the courses. I took one quarter of music theory & piano lab. I’m super rusty and a total amateur. I’m down to start a band / collaboration. It does not matter what genre. I have some of the basic gear for a home studio: mics, 5inch monitors & sub, Focusrite scarlett2i2, Yamaha MG10XU, MPK mini play, loop pedals, and more. I own FL studio because a friend was teaching it to me, he was a terrible teacher, I didn’t learn much. A few days of messing around in Ableton lite and I can tell I like it better. Hell even if we just make a new playlist every week on Spotify I would be satisfied. I like songwriting and coming up with lyrics. I’m looking to unlock my creativity and expression. Making punk rock protest music, some heavy dubstep, producing some dreamy lofi, laid back alternative music, or just helping you write music for your own projects, it all sounds great to me. My plan is to make simple lofi beats while I learn to navigate the software. Maybe do some covers, just keep it simple while learning.
