Mahalo! -------------------- Position Description: Maintenance Service Supervisor: Kokua Real Estate Services is seeking a reliable, responsible, experienced, full-time maintenance supervisor with a truck and basic tools to work for Maui’s largest full-service property management company. Candidates must have good problem-solving skills, be able to communicate effectively, and work well with other employees, tenants, and vendors. Responsibilities: The Maintenance Service Supervisor is responsible for performing general maintenance tasks including work orders, maintaining commercial and residential properties, curb appeal, amenities, and other common areas within our portfolio or Maui-based properties. Additionally, this position provides oversight (i.e., scheduling, training, communication) of our Kokua Real Estate Services maintenance team members. Key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: · Performs maintenance projects and tasks with minimal supervision consistent with Company policy. · Oversight of Kokua Realty Estate Services maintenance team members (i.e., scheduling, communication, training). · Maintains the highest level of customer service for prospects, residents, vendors, and tenants. · Must have light construction skills and experience. · Be able to paint, clean, do repair work and general property maintenance. · Be able to repair/replace light bulbs, broken door handles or locks. · Report any issues with property or tenants to Property Manager. · Painting of units or outside of building as needed. · Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition. Qualifications: · High school diploma or equivalent. · Three to five years industry or maintenance related experience preferred. · Proficient knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair with hands on experience preferred. · Available to be “on-call” when requested and promptly respond to work order requests during assigned periods. · Proven organizational and time management skills. · Valid driver license and automobile insurance. Physical Requirements: May be exposed to constant activity that requires intermittent standing, bending, crouching, pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrying (light to heavy weight material/appliances/ equipment), climbing ladders/stairs. Attendance: Position is full-time, Monday through Friday, and occasionally on the weekends. We are looking for individuals who can work their scheduled hours plus other hours necessary to complete the job. Work schedules and location assignments are subject to change.
