Planter (hydroponics) Rainbow Garden Kauai is Kauai's largest sprout producer. We are looking for someone to help us plant seeds that will become nutritious, high-quality sprouts. Please join us in providing locally-produced food to the community! PLANTER (hydroponics) $17/hour, ~9-12 hours/week The Planter is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment and seeds. The Planter MUST be available on the required days, but the planting can be performed any time during the morning or afternoon, so this job is ideal for people who are looking for a part-time job to fit around other work or activities. Schedule: Tuesday: ~3 hours Thursday: ~4 hours Saturday: ~2 hours Sunday: ~1-3 hours (if possible) We are located in Kapaa on Waipouli Road. Requirements: - MUST be available Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Reliability is extremely important! - Able to lift 55-pound bags of seed. - Attention to detail when cleaning equipment and when cleaning and weighing seed. - Willingness to learn and follow federal regulations.
