Hello, I am a drummer in my mid-40's looking for others just to jam and have fun, and hopefully crreate some original music. I am not much into playing covers, but that might be a fun place to start. I am mostly into instrumental fusion/jazz and progressive rock right now, but I am more of a rock drummer. I grew up on 80's and 90's rock. However, now I am getting very experimental and playing around a lot with odd meters and odd subdivisions such as quintuplets and septuplets. I would love to create some original music in odd subdivsions. It's a totally different feel and vibe. If you have a practice space, even better! I know that drums are difficult to lug around, but I don't have room in my place right now. Any instrument you play is great! Guitar, bass, piano, violin, cello all sound good with drums.
