Vocalist/Rhythm guitarist and Bassist looking for a Lead Guitarist and Drummer to form a new band doing originals and covers from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's. We are looking for experienced musicians, preferably 40 or older, who have played out. Influences are many and eclectic: Beatles, Stones, STP, Alice in Chains, Police, Bowie, NIN, the Cure, REM, the Cars, Fleetwood Mac, Green Day, INXS, Lemonheads, Queen, Steve Miller, U2, Velvet Underground, Waterboys, Joe Jackson, Radiohead, the Smiths, Lloyd Cole, Blind Faith, Kinks, Eagles, Mt. Joy, Mountain Goats, RKS, Arctic Monkeys, Shins, Stooges, New Order, Elliott Smith - and on and on. Practice will be in Astoria with a focus on learning 25 - 30 covers to start so we can play out. Then we can work on originals. We have a lot of material ready to go and more than a few starts to new songs.
