Children's Watercolor Workshop (Favorite Pet/Animal Portrait)

Student artists 8+ yrs, come join us for a fun workshop at The Bella Moxie Co. in Medina as we paint a portrait of our favorite pet or animal! Please be sure to bring a picture of the pet/animal you'd like to recreate with watercolor! We will explore sketching, watercolor paint techniques & adding details with acrylic paint pens. Artists will learn how to care for their own watercolor paint set & brushes that they will take home along with their frameable art after the workshop. This workshop will be led by local artist Kelly Milliron of The Joy Collective Co. & held either inside/outside Bella Moxie's gathering spaces weather dependent on Wednesday July 20th from 10-11:30. Class size is limited to 12 students. If there is further interest, a second time slot from 1-2:30 may be offered on the same day. Almost all supplies & instruction will be included in the workshop price of $30. Super Important: Students will need to bring a photo/picture of their favorite animal/pet for this project! No refunds will be given for cancellations. Please note that only one watercolor kit will be provided per artist despite the number of workshops registered for this week. Three watercolor workshops will be offered: Floral Still Life, Ohio Beach Landscape & Favorite Animal Portrait. Artwork pictured below is an example of the artist's work. Please remember that individual student artist's work will be unique to each participant! We look forward to exploring the art & process of watercolor painting in this workshop with you!
