Explore this early suburb of Charleston, originally developed in 1770, where the tree-lined streets are patriotically named for famous Colonial and Revolutionary heroes. The site of the College of Charleston and location of the first golf club in American, the Village of Harleston is a largely residential neighborhood full of rich history and diverse architectural styles. Please Note: The tour will meet at and depart from Porter's Lodge on the College of Charleston campus at 66 George Street.There are restrooms on the ground floor of CofC's Stern Student Center at 71 George Street.The tour will begin at 10 AM and lasts approximately 2-2.5 hours.
