The phenomenon is back! Only now our host is the official Sacramento Poet Laureate! Help Andru Defeye celebrate his birthday with surprise guests for a very special brunch fundraiser edition of the legendary lewd and lascivious literature event that is part drinking game, part poetry slam, and a whole lot of booze. Drunk Poetry is a debaucherous series of literary drinking games where patrons win free drinks for being the most blasphem- eh em, creative. This month's games will include the Gangster Rap Recital, Dirty Haiku, and Roses Are Red contests. Free drinks to the winners every round. Proceeds benefit Cafe Colonial’s efforts to recover from the panDemi Lovato. No cover. Donations gladly accepted. Get there early to get a seat. Brunch served 9am-2pm.
