Kids of all ages are invited to join in the Women's Museum's Suffrage Parade! Taking place during the Museum's Women's Equality Day Festival at the Jacobs Center in Southeast San Diego. Kids will learn the importance of voting and the history of the suffrage movement while making their own suffrage sashes and "votes for women signs". After learning suffrage songs and chants everyone will participate in a suffrage parade around the festival grounds. Families are also encouraged to explore the rest of the Women's Equality Day Festival before or after the Suffrage Parade program. The festival will include performances, scavenger hunts, workshops, a makers market, and more!
