The NAACP Memphis Branch celebrates over 100 years of fighting for the advancement of people of color. This year’s keynote speaker is Judge Carlos Moore. Judge Moore is the 79th President of the National Bar Association (NBA). A nationally renowned and award-winning trial lawyer, Judge Carlos E. Moore, a Moss Point, MS native, is the Managing Partner of the Cochran Firm – Mississippi Delta based in Grenada, MS. In July of 2017, he was appointed as the first African American Municipal Judge Pro Tem for the City of Clarksdale, MS and in May of 2020 he was named the first African American Municipal Judge Pro Tem for the City of Grenada, MS.
