Rehoming Roosevelt

Today, I had my best friend take Roosevelt from my home. She is doing me a HUGE favor by watching him for a little bit while I scramble to try and find a home for him where he will be happier and our household will be safer AND happier in the long run. Roosevelt really is a gentle giant and is super sweet. But he does not do so well with other pets. Even though he is five and a half and I brought him home as a kitten to my older orange tabby... he still has always displayed issues with Franklin from time time. As Franklin is now older and sickly and I have a six month baby, Roosevelt's doing very poorly and he is no longer safe for my elder cat and my baby. It broke my heart for him to go anywhere without me, even if it IS with my best friend. And especially knowing I now need to find him a home and quickly. If anyone knows anyone who has been interested in having a cat and does not already have pets, please let me know. I can provide additional photos and details upon request. He is a rescue, and i'm sure they would take him back. I would rather find him a home and skip another temporary solution though. It is so stressful on pets! Shelters are on a thirty to forty five day wait list for any type of animal serenders. But again, I'd rather him go somewhere to live out his life instead of HOPE someone else finds that for him. ❤
