Looking for alt/indie folks for new project

I'm looking to start or join a project after being out of the music scene for a while. Can play guitar / bass / some keys, maybe BVs. looking for somewhat like-minded folks (30-40s age range) who would like to do some interesting music but make it melodic and with some decent hooks. throwback tones appreciated - experimental sounds and vintage / lo-fi, etc. Not going in with any preconceived notions, but I'm thinking along the lines of indie/alt rock, stoner, shoegaze, etc. not in any particular order, and just a few things I've been listening to recently: Wilco, King Buffalo, pavement/jicks, black mountain/lightning dust, floyd, beatles, pixies, radiohead, KGLW, television, lots of 90s-00s alt stuff. Newer groups like Crumb, Deep sea diver, caroline rose etc.
