Description
Hi. My family and I have a unique situation. I am Jen and I've been going through treatment for stage 3B breast cancer for almost a year. I am about to start oral chemotherapy then hopefully I'll be done around Christmas. My family and I have also been homeless the entire time since diagnosis. We have been getting by living at motels when we had the money, otherwise we would live in our car.
We were recently blessed with being able to purchase a pop-up trailer. Now, what can we do with it? Our thoughts were if someone was looking rent a room in their home already, that could be for my son. He is 22 and works full time. He is very mature, polite and respectful.
Then if we could rent a small area of property there, my husband and I could live in our trailer. We also are quiet and polite. Tom is a self employed auto mechanic but used to do landscaping so he is always cleaning up properties from any trash, etc. Since I have been ill we don't go out very much because I'm sick a lot from my cancer treatments.
So the camper is a 2005 StarCraft Centennial pop-up trailer about 25 feet long when it's opened up.
Since it's smaller than we thought, it would be hard for 3 adults to live in it full time but my husband and I would be fine in it and then I'd still be close to my son. He wanted to remain close to me while I'm having treatment.
We would be willing to pay the same rate as you would charge to rent a room. With the rent payment, we would ask for use of a spot on the property, electric and WIFI. The trailer has water, toilet and a shower. It also has a stove and fridge.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Please contact us if you are in a position to help us with our unique situation.
Tom
Jen
Sincerely,
Jen, Tom, and Zach
