This position would be to maintain growing fields and gardens for local plant nursery specializing in ornamental flowering shrubs. This position requires several specific skills. Some construction skills for assorted building of fences, construction of new greenhouses, and other general repairs. The maintenance of growing fields by some spraying of weed killers and some physical removal of blackberries and other invasive plants. Some plant growing skills in our nursery production of plants in containers, and some landscaping skills to keep our display gardens looking beautiful. The position is full time, five days per week, 8am to 4pm, your choice of days.
