Our petty differences

I once read a story about early settlers to our country.. A long time ago but just over the hill from where I sit, a group was trying to reach the pacific. They were running low on food, they were tired and it was snowing heavily. With night approaching they were all under a huge amount of stress, as they were also running low on ammunition. It had been a long road. With night approaching the group noticed the wolves circling, tongues hanging out. The wolves were hungry and just waiting for the right moment to strike for an easy meal. Understanding their predicament and being under such stressful situations its no surprise the weary travelers began to argue and fight amongst themselves. As the wolves licked their lips, they began picking them off one by one. When there were only three settlers left they banded together back to back to fight together as one...but with 9 wolves still circling, it was too little too late.. As I remember the story I cant remember if it was the Democrats or the Republicans. Maybe even pro choice.. of course there were anti vaxxers there also, and they can be a pain for sure. At the end of the day.. Do you think it mattered who was right? 🤔 Do any of their issues or disagreements matter now?? I wonder🤔🤔 If the last three that were standing wished they had all put down their differences and banded together sooner ?? While there were still enough of them to fight? I bet they did.. So too shall our country end. United we stand divided we will ALL fall..it doesn't matter who is right. Sorry🥺 I lied🤥 it wasn't a long time ago..In fact it still hasn't played out entirely, but we are all arguing amongst ourselves. The wolves are circling. Can we workout our differences at a later date?.. I know your point is valid and your issue is important.. but we have a much, much bigger problem and if we don't stand as one now.. History will be changed WWII May even disappear from the history books altogether. I don't know how many people died in the creation of our country, but the last time our freedom was in jeopardy it cost the world 70 million lives and unimaginable suffering. The price of freedom continues to rise.. The death toll and suffering I see on the horizon is mind boggling. 7.5 billion United we stand, divided...we fall. Let's do something while there is still time🇺🇸
