Airedale Terrier Brothers Rehome

Description

Need to rehome our two dogs: They are brothers from the same litter. Can go together or individually. Location: Austin, Texas Names: Grom and Krobus Breed: Airedale Terriers Age: 8 months old (DOB 11/23/2021) Weight: 50 lbs Rehome fee: 500 each Health: Very healthy haven't gotten shots yet since we just moved and were still in the process of finding a vet. Not neutered. Info: Got them from a breeder earlier this year. We chose this breed because with their wiry/curly hair they are mostly hypo-allergenic and my husband has allergies. The allergies have only been a problem if I don't bath them for 2+ weeks and don't dust the house for a while. They don't shed very much and if kept clean there are zero allergies. Their dad was 75 lbs mom was 65 lbs. Older generations were used on the farm and for hunting. We picked Krobus up at about 11 weeks old and we got Grom a little later at about 15 weeks old because we wanted the brothers to keep each other company. Raised them on a homemade raw food diet with chicken beef organs eggs vegetables herbs supplements etc. Switched to dry food a month ago because it was becoming too much work to make their food. Currently feeding Taste of The Wild High Prairie Grain-Free Dog Food. They get bathed every couple weeks and brushed. They don't shed very much. If you have never had an Airedale Terrier read up on the breed. They are very smart bold stubborn sweet goofy funny a good protection dog playful. They get along well with other dogs and always want to play. They play rough with each other and may overwhelm smaller dogs unless the smaller dog has a very big personality - every tiny dachsund we have met has bossed them around. They both love cuddles and tummy rubs and they are pretty lazy. They love taking naps during the day and make human-like grumbling noises when they are tired or annoyed. Sometimes they get the zoomies and run around playing tag and chase for a few minutes but then they settle down and relax. Training: They know sit down stay wait come off out-of-the-kitchen rollover shake/paw catch go to crate. They are house-trained and have learned to ring a bell on the door when they need to go out. Supplies: I have lots of supplies for them and would love to give it to whomever we rehome them with. AKC Registration: I have their registration papers from the breeder. I have not registered them yet. I will pass the papers on to whomever we rehome them with and I can show you how to set up registration. I have more pictures as well of them growing up as puppies that I am willing to share. (Grom on the left in most photos. Krobus on the right).
