I'm Seeking A Pup or Male Dog

Hi, I am a stay at home mother of two sons ages 9 and 13. We are seeking a perfect dog or puppy for our home. We need traits such as stability, confidence, patience and gentleness. We sometimes get critters in our apartment so a dog that will mouse and tolerate the kitten is awesome, preferably low shed, preferably a visual deterrent and guardian breed, we would like emotional support and not so energetic that the apartment would be too small...we've had low energy big dogs here before so low to moderate energy indoors is awesome. A puppy who you believe will have these traits is great too. We currently have a budget of $150 but can go up to $200. We also would love a friend for our 54 lbs female bully. Do you have a dog that would fit in? If the dog is an adult it must not be mean and must be housebroken. Hope to hear from my future dogs family soon! :)
