If indeed the Democrats had the foresight to know the Capital would be stormed and had all their cameras in place, then it was a tactical move of genius to entrap all the major players, both citizens and within the Trump administration. ISN'T that "Entrapment" and a crime ?" No it's not. Generally speaking, the people who have the authority to arrest or prosecute a crime cannot encourage the crime. The Democrats didn't encourage the attack nor can they prosecute the crime so the Democrats are not involved in entrapment from a legal aspect. They might have entrapped the traitors from a literal aspect if they knew of Trumps plans and allowed him to follow through with his nefarious actions so they could catch him in the act. The police may know that a person is a drug dealer but they can't simply arrest them without evidence. You have to catch them in the act or find suitable evidence for the crime to be official. Looks like the Jan 6th hearings have done both. They've caught Trump being complicit in the insurrection by his actions and by the testimony of credible eye witnesses.
