Description

Indoor manufacturer hiring to build specialty high-quality wood garden furniture/accessories. Starting pay $22/hour plus production bonuses, rising after well trained and 3-month trial period. Shop production positions also available for someone with good hand/eye coordination, focus on detail. Work hours are 8:30 – 5:00 M-F full time 40 hours/week plus possible overtime. Job functions necessary for management position: • Operate and oversee others using table saws, power sanders, routers, drill press, hand drills & airless spray guns • Able to work unsupervised but with a team • Other management duties & responsibilities as assigned Minimum requirements for management position: • High school diploma or equivalent • One year experience in related job functions • Good math skills using tape measures, fractions, etc. • Excellent organizational skills with ability to follow multiple tasks simultaneously • Good verbal and written communication skills as well as ability to listen carefully and follow instructions • Ability to maintain a regular and reliable attendance record; personal transportation required • Fluency in reading, writing and speaking in English • Ability to interact with co-workers and supervisors in a cooperative and pleasant manner • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds as needed • Ability to work alone or with others in a team environment This is a career opportunity in a small but rapidly growing company with unlimited potential.
